Types of Office Workstation Desks

Single and Linear Workstations

First of all, linear desks place team members side by side along one long worktop, which suits narrow rooms and wall-facing layouts. For example, the Ally 1pax is ideal for a single seat. Meanwhile, the Ally 2pax, Ally 2pax side by side and Ally 3pax workstations link two or three seats in a row.

Cluster and Face to Face Workstations

Similarly, cluster workstations group 4, 6, 8 or more people around a shared spine, which saves space and encourages teamwork. In particular, the Ally 4pax, Ally 6 person face to face, Ally Plus 4pax and Plus cluster of 4 workstations are popular for open-plan offices. For L and T shaped layouts, see the Ally 2pax T, Zin, Zin HD, Zoe Box 6 person and Luca workstations.

High Partition and Cubicle Workstations

On the other hand, high partitions give each person more privacy and reduce noise, which is ideal for call centres, finance teams and focused work. For instance, the High Beta, High Cube, High Cube Pod and High Cubical workstations offer tall screens with optional acoustic panels and pin boards.

Height Adjustable Workstations

Likewise, sit-stand desks let employees change posture through the day, which helps reduce back and neck strain. Our range includes the Ergo Height Adjustable Desk, Ergo Duo Sit Stand Desk, Ergo L-Shape, Ergo L-Shape with Storage and Ergo Smart Flip Desk. How to Plan Office Workstations in Dubai

First, count your current team and allow room to grow. Next, decide how much privacy each role needs, because sales teams often prefer open clusters while finance and support teams benefit from higher partitions. Then, plan power points and cable routes before the desks arrive. Finally, choose comfortable task chairs and storage cabinets to complete each workstation. Not sure where to start? In that case, our free space planning service can create a layout for your floor plan.

What size is a standard office workstation?

Generally, each seat is 120 to 160 cm wide and 60 to 80 cm deep. However, the right size depends on your floor space and how each person works, so we can make workstations in custom sizes to fit your layout.

Can you make custom office workstations in Dubai?

Yes. In fact, we customize layouts, sizes, partition heights, colours, storage and cable management for every project. We can also work from your interior designer’s drawings.

How much do office workstations cost in Dubai?

The price depends on the number of seats, layout, partitions, finishes and accessories. Therefore, the best way to get an accurate price is to request a free quotation with your team size and floor plan.

How long does delivery take?

In general, standard workstations are delivered within 5 to 7 working days. For large or customized projects, however, we confirm the production and installation timeline with your quotation.

Do your workstations include cable management?
